Thank you Mr.Prime Minister , for your extempore speech . you brought in a whiff of change in that at least . But was there anything new to add by you ? Your great victory gave me the feel , here is the man , who might turn out to be the proverbial shepherd . . But , that did not come to be . Your biggest asset being your understanding that Indians are stirred on almost all occasions by sentiment and instinct , rather than by programmes or worldly calculation . And being an astute politician , you have worked on that understanding to gain political brownies and quite justifiably so . But now that you are in the saddle and sitting pretty , with a resounding majority , why is it that you dither and the soul stirring words you mouth seem to give a feeling of deja vu . A predictable speech , with the lows and highs in their usual places , the pauses , even the adjectives not changing . tch ..... alas ....
