Thank you P. Melissa .....I read it first thing this morning but didnt think about it much, and I have been re-reading and meditating on it since you mentioned it....theres more prep work for me to go through....all in Gods time 😘 His Work in You By adminon Sun, 28 Dec 2014 Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary” (Isaiah 40:31, NASB). I sat at the gate in the airport facing the clear panels waiting for my flight. As I looked out and watched the people load the plane with passenger luggage, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me. He said, “See how, before a plane takes off, so much care and so many procedures are undertaken to ensure a safe and successful flight? The oil and engine are checked and passenger luggage is loaded. It is essential that the luggage is loaded before the passengers get on board since it is almost a guarantee that, once the luggage is on board, the passenger will likely be on board as well.” The Spirit continued: “This can be likened to how I prepare My people—but to even a greater extent and with much care and love. I deposit My attributes of love, goodness, and mercy into them by virtue of the new birth. Then with care, I condition them to produce fruits as I take up residence within them. As I condition and prepare them, they start to yield fruits in accordance with My image, they carry on in My power and might, preaching the Good News, setting the captives free, healing the sick and the brokenhearted. You see, a plane when it takes off does not stop midway to fill up its tank or check its tires; all the necessary preparation is already done to ensure a timely and safe flight. “If only My daughters will understand and know that I am preparing them for a good work and once My work is complete in them, they will take off—not stopping or being hindered in any way to bring glory to My Kingdom. For I know the thoughts that I have for them, thoughts of good and not of evil to give them a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). I have prepared them, and I am preparing each of My own for a great and glorious work. The process requires a check-in with the work on the cross and removal of excess baggage of sin, doubt, and pain. Then My Spirit dwells and enables them to act according to My good will (Philippians 2:13). I am the Lord God; is anything too hard for me (Jeremiah 32:27)?” Romans 8:29 says; “For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters” (NLT). Prayer: You alone are God. Your Word is true and does not return to You void. I will wait for You and trust in You as You prepare me for greater works. For You who began a good work in me will complete it until the day of my Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
