Thank you Sooke for placing your confidence in me at the polls! I am grateful for your support and for all of the kind encouragement. A big thank you to my team, volunteers and supporters that came together and worked so hard through the election. While the election was an engaging, busy and sometimes frustrating experience I know that the real work is about to begin. Im truly grateful for the opportunity to serve our beautiful community as Mayor, Im ready for the challenge and optimistic about our future. Sookes new Council will be sworn into office this evening at 7 pm. (Council Chambers). There are some technical issues at the moment with the web-casting, that may or may not be resolved by the service provider by this evening. The meeting will be recorded but may not be able to run through the live feed. Going forward, Mondays after 10 am are the Mayors open door, please drop by at your convenience.
