Thank you all for the comments and love the past few days in regards to Foster. He really was the most incredible dog. Poor guy suffered that last week of his life which was really unfair to such a loving creature. Cancer destroyed his stomach and by the time the symptoms showed up the damage had been done. I am glad he suffers no more but I wish we could have had him longer as he had just turned 9 on January 9th. People have been really kind to us about losing Foster and thank you for that as it shows my kids Max and Maggie how wonderful other people can be in hard times. We are hurting as we lost Foster too early and so fast. I know in time the hurt eases but the loss is permanent and that is the tough reality to accept. JY
