Thank you all for the congratulations on the most recent addition to our family, Quinn Elaine Simmons, 8 lb. 3 oz. and is strong as her mom Emily and dad Aaron. And for those of you who have had a great time pointing out I am a grandpa like it is sign of becoming old let me remind you that at 51 years old this year I have: >Pushed my skateboard well over 1200 miles+ >Completed a 188 mile three day push race that is the only one of its kind on the planet. >Took up land paddling just a few weeks ago and have logged over 80 miles so far >Skateboard 496 miles and wakeboarded 8 miles across NC at age 48. >Am a part-time bouncer at a bar. >Ride my bike every chance I get rather than drive a car. >Work out at least 5 days a week. So call me Gramps, grandpa, papaw, grand daddy, etc. all you want. I am proud of it and it as a moniker I wear proudly. If God is willing I plan on being around to watch Quinn and Mal grow up!
