Thank you all for the overwhelming response to our 1st MLAG CME cum Workshop 2014 on clinical communication skills. The attendance considering that topics were unconventional was beyond our wildest dreams.Doctors normally are used to lavish Pharma sponsored hospitality and I was impressed by delegates who not only came from far off places, but sat through the entire day and participated freely in the workshop. I think despite the meager pharma sponsorship we will still manage to save some money for MLAG (pending bills permitting) from the paid registration and contributions from those who attended so thank you all once again. We made blunders like asking one of the faculty (chairpersons) like Prof Lakhbir Dhaliwal Prof and Head Dept of Obst & Gyn PGIMER for registration fee who graciously deposited the sum. Our event was graced by current and three former directors of PGIMER Chandigarh besides host of other dignitaries . Doctors from Far off places in Punjab including Patiala, Nawanshahar, Bhatinda Yamunanagar and ludhiana attended the event. Some MLAG heavyweights were not able to attend and were sorely missed. Talk of Mrs Mary Keightly on how to apologize was the highlight as also was the workshop which was very interactive.
