Thank you all for the warm 1st anniversary wishes. I smile remembering a year ago I was planning Tony Duck Drumm 50th birthday. I worked hard to surprise him with his cake. He wasnt tho. He knows me so well. As soon as Jules Thompson Cagle posted a pic of the cake, he knew this would be his cake. I think he was happy I had my hands full with this and a wedding cake for Kathy McDaniel daughter. As he and his best man Kim Gregory finished up their running around secret wedding plans. And the other conspiracy culprit Jules was asked to marry us and to not say a word. TO ANYONE!!!! Well, long sweet story short.... Somehow, the word got out to my chosen EBF Sisters who schemed up all needed items. Wedding dress, hair piece, flowers, guest book etc... Rusty Pilot played his guitar and sang. Still I thought nothing. As I am taking pictures, I see Tony ask for the mic. Seemed a little odd as he Never gets on a mic. At first I didnt hear and catch on when he asked me over to him. I thought he was maybe going to tell me his cake is cool. Then he got down on one knee..... Well, we were already going to be married in the year 2013. So I then assume he was making it public. Asking me proper. NOPE, after I said yes, he stands up and says I have 15 minutes to be ready. A little confused because still...This was my planning going on So here come the sisters with different things. Kelley K Hodges, with her wedding dress, Jules has a box ready with other somthigs...Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue. So much going on..... I need a drink to calm down. I am in the bathroom, Sisters everywhere undressing me, redressing me, fixing my hair. (remember I only have 15 minutes) Thank you Jackie Blackwell for the rescue. Did I ever repay you the drinks I drank of yours? My maiden of honor, Traci Vick walked me down the aisle with all my sister bridesmaids following. The crowd of friends parted for us to make our way up to my romantic husband to be. Anyone who has gone through the stress level to have the perfect beautiful wedding will appreciate when I say this is the Perfect way to be married. Friends and family werent put out having to spend extreme $s and stressing on a certain look. All came as their happy wonderful selves. Even Kristin Bracey and Melissa Porter showed up with smiles while in Wisconsin. They were a little stiff I guess. Yet still came as they were. Thank you all who made our day special!! I love you all because you are YOU!!!
