Thank you all for your #MightyPrayers. We definitely felt them today. Its a whole process for us. As we try to keep it together for both of our pieces of heaven and keeping in mind that we are only humans too. Cami as always takes a extra time to give Vale her blessing before each scan. Today was no different. She was super gentle since we try to keep her asleep as long as possible. Since the first thing she says is Ill show you in the kitchen Vale loves to eat all day long and to keep her starving until 3:30 pm was not fun. At least she was sedated for the last 3 hrs. Going thru this #Scanxiety and #Scanphobia (quoting a #BraveMama) is draining. Its so weird cause you hear everyone talking but you cant listen. As the anesthesiologist explains the process and the risk. I felt like the twilight zone. We have done this some many times with the same fantastic doctor that I shouldnt get nervous. Its such it empty feeling leaving your sunshine in someone elses arms. Even though that those arms have done everything in their hands to keep her as happy as possible. God knows that the radiology team at #CHLA is the BEST! I truly admired and love the dedication that these Angels give to all of us. Our kids and ourselves. Thank you for always sharing smile with us. I just dont think that as time goes by this process will get any less draining. Now the waiting game begins!!!! Until Tuesday, if I can keep my promise not to stuck our lovely oncologist. Ill try my best 😱 #IBelieve in God and that his plans are better than mine.
