Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. What Im about to say is coming from someone who is greedy for you all to get as close to God as you possibly can on this earth. We Christians never need to ask God to take care of our loved ones. Instead we can stand in the glorious peace and confidence which comes from knowing that God is already taking the best possible care of the souls we love down here. I have no idea if my family member will live or die in the next few days, but I do know that whatever happens will be Gods best plan for her and for the rest of us. My family might not feel ready for God to make certain choices, but our feelings do not indicate reality. God walks ahead of us in our lives, not behind. He prepares us for whats coming in ways we dont detect. God has gone to great lengths to convince me that I really can trust Him in this life and I do. Whatever happens, He will be with us, guiding us each step of the way. Trusting God is a choice we must fight to make, it is not a natural state of being. But it is a fight that is well worth it. We are all in different battlegrounds at this moment in our lives, but we are all making the same choices. I want to encourage us all to put everything weve got into trusting God. Lets not ask Him for things He has already told us we have--and Hes told us that we are all receiving the best possible care in His loving hands. Let us seek to honor Him with our praises instead of requests. Thank you, my friends!
