Thank you all for your overwhelming support during this difficult time for not only our Vet, Billy, but our entire family during this tof year. I wanted to keep everyone updated. I would like to introduce Charlie. After some basic training, Charlie will continue his training to become Billys next combat PTSD service dog and family member to us all. When looking at humane societies, we happened into the same one I had adopted Scarlet from years earlier. Billy decided that Charlie was the one. Later I informed him that Charlie was in the same exact kennel as Scarlet had been and just like Scarlet, he was the only one sitting still, not barking, and waiting his turn just as Scarlet had when I found her. Charlie will never be Scarlet but I am hoping this is a sign that he is meant to part of this family since Scarlet no longer can. Thank you again to all that have helped us. You are each amazing and we love you all.
