Thank you all for your phone calls, inbox messages, likes, and comments. I am just going to put this out there. Today we had a discussion in class about social media and putting all your business out there. My argument that it depends on what you actually use social media for. For me, it is important that I am TOTALLY transparent, because I believe God is calling me TO BE TOTALLY TRANSPARENT to inspire and demonstrate to SOMEONE the actual process of going through and not giving up. I have put a lot of time, energy, and money into trying to be self-employed, stand on my own two feet, and trust the God of my understanding. I am STILL in the CPS process(although at the very end) still working things out in that capacity and raising my children as a single parent with no access to section 8, foodstamps, etc. is NOT easy. Some of the events I have invested money in, didnt quite bring the return I was hoping for but thats ok, because I have tracked those experiences in numbers and can now see where I have made some unwise choices. With all my other bills and projects and now the car messing up, I just feel overwhelmed, but failure is NOT an option. So I have decided I am going to go to every fast food restaurant in the neighborhood and see if I can flip burgers at night, continue to go to school in the mornings, and do the rest of the things I do on a normal every day basis. My girlfriend told me, you dont have to tell everybody youre going to work fast food. My question is why not? Im not hiding behind my look good today. Im saving my ass not my face, and more importantly, Id rather flip burgers than flag cars any day. The fact still remains that I have a violent crime on my background and I am asking yall to pray that a door is opened. The good news? The thought, urge, or desire to get high has NOT come. The thought to smoke a cigarette, has NOT come. PSALMS 84:10 - I WOULD RATHER BE A DOORKEEPER IN THE HOUSE OF MY GOD THAN TO DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE WICKED.
