Thank you all so very much for your very generous and inspiring birthday wishes. I am forever grateful to you all. Waking up a year older with creaky bones and the realization that our nation, the Gambia, in particular, and too many other nations are faced with a murky reality because of evil leaders like Yahya Jammeh, makes me aware that sadly, we have very little to celebrate. I am much more determined to continue this fight to free our nation from the clutches of a vicious tyrant. We cannot continue to live in exile because of Jammeh and his criminal regime. We must all be able to freely visit our country without hindrance; to be able to visit the graves of our parents and families who died behind our backs, and whose funerals we could not attend simply because we dare to stand up for the truth. The fight to end tyranny in the Gambia continues.
