Thank you amazing family for all the surprises this weekend! I loved spending the day with my two best girls. We ran our first-ever trail race, and yes, it was COLD. I PRed (since it was my first) and got 2nd in my age division. Then we had post-race pedicures and lunch. After that it was home for hot showers, an afternoon of laughter and memory-making, then a pizza dinner with all of us together. Then they managed to pull together a surprise birthday party with more family and good friends. I was definitely surprised and happy to have everyone help me celebrate the big 5-0. Thank you to everyone! Its been a great birthday and a wonderful weekend. Thanks Dennis, Jamie, Jessica, Mike, Tyson, Mitch, Addie, and Ollie. My heart is overflowing.
