Thank you, cutie patootie little raven curly haired love bug Robin Kushner, for making sure I saw this link. I grew up hating my curls, wishing for something else, trying everything to straighten them. It wasnt until I was in my late 30s that I gave up and decided to be at one with them. It makes me sad to think about all the time I wasted trying to be something I am not. And it makes me even more sad to hear these little girls saying all the things I remember feeling.
