Thank you everyone for wishing me luck and your prayers! It means so much to know people care and are thinking of me during this journey. Since it was my first apt to see this Lung specialist, nothing was really done. He listened to my lungs and said that my right lung sounds diminished. Signs of fluid in lung but no tests to confirm. Talked about diagnosis and discussed medications and coming up with plan for future treatment. He hadnt received my medical records so he had no scans to go on for treatment or ideas. So requesting all chest cat scans reports and images, labs, pulmonary function tests ( breathing tests from Cleveland clinic), echo, pathology reports from Riverside and Cleveland Clinic. Also requesting the pathology slides from Lung biopsy. After reviewing all medical records I go back in October to discuss my options and the evaluation for transplant at OSU. He did comment that it is possible that with some of my diseases that I could have pulmonary hypertension as well. Wont know until after viewing echo of lungs to see if signs for pulmonary hypertension exist, then proceed with blood work to find out. When I go back in October Im going to have pulmonary functions test, 6 minute walk test, and then a cat scan. Followed by exam from Dr 2 days later so with all tests he will be able to determine the best course of action. He seems really nice and answered all my questions. So glad switched pulmonary Dr!! So I guess more waiting. But glad Im seeing someone new and hes being thorough. About time. Again I say thank you for everyones prayers and showing your support in my time of need!!
