Thank you everyone for your encouraging words and support. Most days are just like the one we had recently with the deer in the plastic pumpkin. The only difference is they dont make national news! Each day we face new challenges providing emergency rescue for birds and animals in 16 Ohio counties. Many of our cases are even more dangerous as we work around electric lines, windmills, busy highways, and industrial plants. The calls come 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year, and we need your help to keep this work going! Birds in Flight sanctuary is in dire need of a new rescue van and donations to provide animals with emergency medicine, treatment, food, and housing. We receive no help from the state or Federal Government and rely 100% on donations. Our dream and goal for the future is to find enough land and a continuous stream of funding to build a full emergency and educational facility so we can provide even more care and involve schools and the general public for educational programs of all sorts.
