Thank you everyone who posted for my birthday! I have the best friends and family in the world. Spent the day with some of them at the Okeechobee Cattle Battle where Zeke did a great job showing his heifer. I have so much to be grateful for and the Lord has blessed with me a very special birthday present that only He could have made possible..... Tomorrow morning I will begin receiving the first of 30 treatments at the Vero branch of the University of Florida Psychiatric Facility. It is called TMS (Trans-cranial Magnetic Stimulation) in which the portion of the brain that produces Serotonin is targeted with magnetic pulses that basically stimulate the tissue to begin working again. I am very hopeful that this treatment will allow the doctor to reduce the amounts- or even better, eliminate the medications that are needed to keep me stable (and sane: ) The treatments are five days a week for six weeks and I am so thankful for the family and friends who have stepped in to pick up my slack and make this logistically feasible. Again, I am overwhelmed by the love and support I have felt from each of you that have posted blessings for my birthday. I hope you know how much you mean to me.
