Thank you for adding me to the group. Heres a little of my story... my son is 9 yrs old just this past Sunday the 2nd I took him to the ER they did blood work and chest xray came back that he had beginning of pneumonia gave him meds and sent us home. Monday came and he was in alot of pain on lower left side and was dizzy so I took him back they did more blood work and ct scan. They came back and took more blood. They told me his lymph nodes in lower stomach were swollen and his platelets were low. On Sunday they were 170 and Monday they had dropped to 65 had to retest Tuesday and they were at 113. His doctor wants him to see a hematologist next week. He was retested today and they were at 121. Any advice? Thank you in advance. ..
