Thank you for adding me to the group Jane, Im glad I am not the only one who resents the switch from Magic to what is now Hallam 2 in my area. Now, anyone who has heard Hallam FM will probably have had a feeling of forboding when the change was announced,and those fears have been realised. Being a shift worker I went to work in the mornings with Glenn Pinder, went to and from work in the afternoon with Nick Wright, and went to and from at half 9 with Ray Rose. Only Ray remains in that routine now, and even that is not the same, we still have the virtual pub, but the rest is just not quite right. One of the great things about Magic was that it didnt just play the oldies you knew, it played ones you might have forgotten. On the first day of listening to Hallam 2,within three songs there was Pharell Williams from 2014...Yeah a right golden oldie. I dont want all the hits I want Magic!!
