I went to Mehlville HS, graduated in 63 but played in bands throughout Crestwood, Kirkland and Afton in the early 60s. In 1962, I was a park counselor at Grandview Park (which is where the intersection of I-255 and Hyw 30 is today). In 1969-70, I was President of the Student Govt. Assn. at Meramec CC as well as doling promos on KSHE-FM (thank you Prince Knight) as well as doing R&R shows with Billy Peek and others playing sax.
