Thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes :) they are such a blessing. I have enjoyed reading every one from elementary school friends, coworkers, high school and college friends to friends Ive met in my travels around the world. If you know me very well, I love praying and have paused and prayed for blessings over each and every person as Ive typed over 300 thank yous today. It has truly been as wonderful of a birthday as I could ask for. It started out perfect when I got home from the grocery store last night, where I found the most beautiful bouquet of roses. The kids and I had a wonderful time at Bark in the Park Saturday, and the kids took me and Mom to Toys R Us for some Birthday shopping. They picked out this bright pink sparkly sash that said Birthday Princess which I happily wore today. Also a nerf gun :) Today I got to spend the morning at Harvest Church and taught the second grade boys, ate Chinese buffet for lunch with my Mom and the kids, did a couple of loads of laundry, and watched the race with Ken and the kids. It was an absolutely perfectly normal day. Would have loved to have been on a board in the ocean, but Im not sure if that would have come close to a day spent doing perfectly normal things and feeling so loved and cherished. I am truly blessed.
