Thank you for all your prayers to those who were aware of the horrible accident that happened today at Cannon Park in carterville. While playing with her friend, Lexington fell from the top of the playground area out the opening near the fireman pole. She fell in a split second doing a full flip and landing face down on the mulch. Following our ER visit and CT scan she was cleared of all fractures which I truly believe is a miracle. This fall was at least 8 feet or so. God and her guardian angel my grandmother were watching over our baby and protected her. She is very sore and being monitored for any internal injuries. She will follow up with her pediatrician in the am. Hug your babies tonight-- anything can happen in an instant. and yes I did contact the park to see if there is anything they can do to prevent this from ever happening to another child. I will never look at play equipment the same
