Thank you for allowing me to join! I am a new fan of the UKC after going to a UKC show put on by the Obedience Training Class of Harrisburg last Sunday. I was helped by the members to get my dog, Smudge, aka Jenesis Seminole Winds of Songbrook, her TL, and entered into the appropriate classes. Everyone was helpful and encouraging. Ms. Smudge got two best of breeds and a group fourth in the two shows. Although Im afraid my handicap scooter was allegedly affecting the performance of one of the group competitors, that individual won the group 1, so at least I dont feel as guilty about that as I started out feeling. Ive heard there are some more shows that I may be able to get to in December, and I hope I will see some friendly faces from the OTCH show as Smudge and I work to get her the rest of the way to her UKC championship title. Look forward to making friends and having fun at more UKC events. Thanks again!
