Thank you for allowing me to join the DS group. I was there from 1963-69 and my sisters after this. Our Maiden Name was BLAIKIE and my sisters names were Lucky and Margaret. I have been trying to find a link to people from school which was a lot f years ago now. Just to update everyone when I joined 10th September 1963 Mrs Solan was Headmistress. She was disabled and drove a disabled car. Head of Music was Mr Freemantle and with Miss Frairy? My form teacher was Miss Lamb who was a geography teacher. We had a lot of teachers obviously too many to list. My sisters and I were in the choir and the orchestra. We had piano lessons with Ms Yu and My sister Lucky and I were taught to play Trumpet and Trombone by Mr North. I believe Head of Green House (which I was in) was Mrs Gaskill I think. I remember Mrs Mottershead who was Head of Red House. I was wondering is there anyone in the group who was at DS the same years as we were. Looking forward to hearing from you.
