The people of this county should not be swayed by false statements regarding the competence and experience of our candidates for district attorney. I have spent most of my life involved in the criminal justice system in Greene County. It is so important to make the right choice in this election. Any police officer in this county will tell you there are too many repeat offenders walking the streets of our villages and towns. The most important ingredient in any criminal case is the preparation, not the presentation. If the investigation is thorough and complete, the prosecutor’s job becomes easier. Paul Salvino will be at the scene, assisting law enforcement in the preparation of the case, moving it forward to a successful conclusion. His experience should not come under question. He is the most qualified candidate in this election. Ask any police officer in this county his opinion about the qualifications and experience of Paul Salvino, but make sure when you ask that the officer is away from superiors. Paul Salvino spent the best part of his career putting the criminals in Greene County behind bars, and his opponent has spent most of his career getting them out.
