Thank you for inviting me to join this group Jon. I love that it is named a safe zone. I live with a herd of horses of many different kinds and there is so much to share about them and about those of us working for them and with them. I often wonder about the Great Mystery that envelops us all. I hardly ever feel safe in the world because of a disorder I also live with. I dont like giving it a name, though it has been given many names by western medicine. I see the very same disorder in many of the horses that come to live with us, especially those that have been put through too much. With stability and routine and love and compassion we bring them back to life and each and every time their utter beauty amazes me and in this way I am healing my own dis-ease. I want to accept myself and be loving and compassionate in my own struggle, as I am with the horses, maybe here I can explore that more deeply, I think so and I hope so. Thanks again....
