Thank you for sharing this Sandra Long Rawlins...my great grandmother, on my mothers side was a full blooded Cherokee Indian. My mother told me of seeing her grandmother sitting on her porch, in a rocking chair smoking her corn cob pipe and wearing her long hair braids that came to her waist. I wouldve loved to have met her. (My great-grandmother, is where my love of nature comes from Im sure.) This was beautiful and loved the photos that went with it.
