Thank you for the add. I found this group through a blog article. My family has bad reactions to vaccines and I have always been looked down on for delay vaccinating my son who is now 5. His school is trying to fine me $25/day because I will not give him MMR, DTAP or chicken pox. Im fighting it with every inch of me. My daughter is almost 4 months and Im trying like hell to convince her dad that waiting till shes older to vaccinate is best for her. In the hospital he signed papers giving the OK to give her hepatitis B and at her 2 month I was able to convince him to only give one vaccine. We agreed on whooping cough and the aide at the drs office was upset that I requested whooping cough only, not DTAP. She was annoyed I made her job just a tad big more difficult that day. Why must medical professionals give so much hell to parents who make choices for their children? I am a stay at home mom and I exclusively breastfeed. Any advise on how to handle my fiancé and the drs office would be greatly appreciated! Its difficult to be the only one who doesnt want to bombard my infant and child with vaccinations.
