Thank you for the question: Hi Wendy, I had a question come up and wondered if you knew the answer. When we refrigerate saline in the MH cart, once it is chilled, does it expire sooner than its labeled expiration date? The rationale to pose this question comes from warming saline it expires sooner from being warned. Answer: I had to go to the manufacturer for this one just in case but it like you would expect. It actually is good for longer. The manufacturer does not recommend lengthening the expiration date though so it will be the same as if it were room temp.
