Thank you for this Joel Levey… Fukushima insights and links worth exploring: Having just researched this extensively in process of organizing a big Water Symposium at St. Marks Cathedral in Seattle - I am deeply skeptical of statements/articles that claim that there is no cause for concern from Fukushima or for the radiation levels of the Pacific Ocean and sea foods that concentrate radiation up the food chain. There is no safe dose of radiation – risk increases with exposure. Reliable data is very difficult to find - from EPA, NOAA, various university departments and the situation is murky at best - and there truly is great reason for concern especially with the current work on fuel pool #4 at Fukushima.
