Thank you for you prayers & well wishes. Please keep them coming. Grandmas tired, but talking. She has a reflex in her left leg, but the left arm has no response. The left side of her face is drawn, but she is opening her eyes a little. She can swallow liquid & soft food, so they are going to let her try to eat some oatmeal. Her cumadin was not registering as theraputic, so that means there wasnt enough in her system to thin her blood. The artery in the right side of her neck is largely blocked and without high enough blood thinner levels, it threw a clot, causing the stroke. She will need to go to a rehabilitation facility to see what mobility physical therapy can help her get back & depending on her progress, whether she will be able to live on her own again.
