Thank you for your reply Kelley Ireland Parker "Jumbos are selling! Our market exploded this summer but has taken a slight slow down over the last 6 - 8 weeks... I think because parents were busy getting kids back to school, because of the slight increase in interest rates, maybe because of the threat of losing our interest tax deduction, partly because of the (in some cases) significant increase in our health insurance premiums now that obamacare is kicking in.....and because of a general uncertainty of what is going on with our government. BUT, it has not stopped our market, just put a little damper on the sudden burst of activity. My outlook is very positive for our local real estate market. In fact, I think this little softening of the explosive market will be a good thing in the long run as a slowly increasing market is always a healthier & more stable adjustment than a quick one.
