Thank you friends who called to make sure the homeless had enough jackets and warm blankets for the horrible freeze we are expecting for the next two nights. I found out that we are good for the people we have at tent city. Our drive for blankets, warm clothes, shoes and socks for the last three weeks has brought some amazing results. I was so proud of each item that we took. It was either new or very gently used. God Bless each of you. We are still collecting as more come each week. Some ride in on the train and need warm things. We want to be prepared. Another need that we have is tents. They do not have to be new but should be gently used with zippers working and we also need tarps. I cannot imagine sleeping outside in a tent tonight . I pray Gods protection over these precious people. Lord keep them safe and warm tonight. Let them feel your love. Lord hear our prayers.
