Thank you in advance for all the sweet birthday wishes! I appreciate the texts, and facebook pm I am reading. I am not sure I will be on much or keeping up but, know they are all special and I will get to them even if later tonight. Today is full of rescue work. Some responsibilities dont stop just because YOU get a special day. These lives that depend on me dont seem to know it is my birthday!! (Imagine that!) So, Satya (sweet pit bull with spinal injury) is not doing well today. She is really having a hard time getting around and is weak today. She was not able to do therapy which breaks my heart and leaves me in tears. Trying to get with the Doctor for an assessment of whats next in our steps to help her. My little Bella (min pin mix) is having sudden issues with her eyes and appears to be having some hazing and loss of vision. She has an appointment at 330pm. I have a couple of meet and greets to follow up on and possible adoptions too. There are baths to give, dogs to exercise, medications to distribute, kennels to clean, emails to answer, paperwork to do, records to transfer, and more of the usual routine. We also are working on pieces for a special adoption event at the beginning of May. OH, and I am trying to make contact with a foster who has decided to stop communicating, moved without providing an update of address, and STILL has one of my rescue dogs. So frustrating because the dog has an interested adopter and I cant get a hold of the foster to get her. So, this is my birthday day. I am hoping the evening will be calm. Dinner, Movie, and a glass of wine would be a delight! :)
