“Thank you, mom!” is what my three year old, Joshie, said to me yesterday! “Thank, you for what?” I asked him. “Thank you, for this” he said holding up a toothbrush I had just purchased for him! That was a just a sweet little moment I had with him and I’ve been having those moments more often lately after reading an important reminder in a New Year’s Blessing: “I hope for you… That you treasure your loved ones and let them know how dear they are to you.” Since reading that, I’ve been getting and giving lots more hugs and kisses! Life is all about relationships! Marla Maples, the former wife of Donald Trump, said yesterday that she’s been to the point of having little money, to the point of having lots of money, but the best of life is our relationships! Not the money, the house or cars, it’s the people we get to enjoy them with! My mom has been spending the summer with us and I’m so enjoying my time with her! At this point of my life I don’t want to spend more than five minutes upset with anyone! Life is too short! I forgive quickly and I love extravagantly and I’m living the best life surrounded by the best people! Importantly, I’ve become a professional ignorer (kindly and respectfully) as not everything is worth having a fight about! I’ve also left the past in the past, nobody’s perfect, my guys! Let’s really enjoy the people in our lives and the ones who don’t want to be with us, let them go! We each have our own paths in life! I say no obligations! But, we do have an opportunity to live our best lives together! Find and enjoy people you can do that with! And “May your friendship with God be strong and healthy.” Since setting the alarm on my phone to the 7,3 and 7, as my reminder that God is my constant companion, I’ve noticed I’m so much happier and more at peace! WE GO WITH GOD!
