Thank you sister Bucky Hassan for this finest message. What we have in Nigeria is called identity crisis. From your story, youve had your fair share of identity crisis. Yet, you didnt despair. You faced it head on, confronted it and resolved it. Now you know where you are with God and with humanity. This is what we need to do as individuals and as a people. We cannot make progress as a nation without identifying and standing by a common streak that homogenizes our identities. We need something that unites us in our existence as a group that wishes to distinguish itself in the comity of nations. That streak is our Nigerianness - our unique Nigerian identity that oozes out of us everywhere we go. We must get it, tweak it, strengthen it and then uphold it for the whole world to see.
