Thank you so much Keith Mullins for accepting my request for membership :) I am hoping there is someone here that can help me with any info on these two wall hanging scrolls. I do not even know how to tell if they are Chinese or Japanese. There is absolutely no English writing on them to help me lol Totally out of my realm of knowledge. If anyone can help with any information, maker, artist, if these are typical/current decor or older and any clue on value, anything would be greatly appreciated! I purchases these at a thrift store. One is 6 ft. long, the other is 4 ft. long. There is some writing on both boxes done very lightly in pencil. Because of the poor quality of my iphone cam. they appear to have water damage but i assure you they are in excellent condition, my phone was picking up on every little shadow. The bottom scroll bar appears to be real wood. Sorry folks, this is a description to the best of my ability, it does appear to be hand painted with water paints and acrylics. The colors are very sharp, especially on the one with the butterflies.
