Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. I have had a beautiful day spent with my nearest and dearest at Brunswick Heads. Perfect. My birthday started yesterday when I was presented with a huge delicious birthday cake at the jazz club where I was performing with my band Casino St. Yes, at the age of - well lets not even GO there - I am still in a band. We basically do it for love and fun and we dont gig much - maybe once or twice a year, and over time we have evolved a certain distinctive sound and style (IMO), and we have a small following in spite of the fact that we dont gig much. Such a nice bonus. So when we do a gig its quite a special occasion for us - and yesterday I felt that we created a pretty special occasion for the audience as well. What a great feeling! The best!! And then to have this gorgeous cake presented and everyone singing happy birthday...who could wish for a better day! And then today I had another one! Feeling SO blessed today...thank you Sue and John, Axel, Steve, Phoebe, Geradina, Don, Casino St., the Lismore Jazz Club and everyone who has left a message here on facebook and all who came yesterday and all who have msged and phoned for making such a special day for me. What great friends I have. I am feeling very loved. And hopefully I may even have a track or two to post here soon.
