Thank you so much for all the support and donations the foundation received yesterday at Rivfest. Although the event was cancelled due to extreme weather conditions we did manage run for a few hours before hand and were really enjoying ourselves up until it hammered down with a thunder and lightening storm thus nearly totally wiping out our stall. LED stock and Tv DVD system were unaffected due to the fast actions of Team Daniel staff but obviously this had an effect on the other merchandise which was unprotected at the front of the stall as the storm ripped through our marque. Although we have lost much of our stock and are now around £800 out of pocket we are without doubt still in good spirits and taking it on the chin so to speak. There are many more important issues in this world and many children needing help and support so we as a foundation always look to the future and learn from the past so we can all give 100% of our efforts and not dwell on what could have been. Our thanks go out to Snypa Riley, Urban Urban Arts clinic and Rivfest committee for the invitation to the event and for all the support they have given us throughout Daniels journey and also to everyone who came to our stall and supported us. I personally would also like to thank Team Daniel members for all the hard work and time that they have volunteered over these past 3 months and to all the people and companies who donated gifts and prizes for the foundation stall.
