Thank you so much for the congrats and wishes... one of the greatest gifts I have received are the friendships I have found along the way. That being said, these past 3 years are all because of a power so great it was the only thing capable of halting my addiction. I hope I never forget that the only choice I am capable of making is either turning away from or towards it. That is the only choice I have any power over. Faith does not keep me here, belief does not keep me here because even when I didnt believe and didnt have faith, when I was simply willing to turn towards a power greater than myself I felt relief. That is all I ever need to remember. Im forever grateful for the grace I have been granted even when I didnt know what I was turning to. It is precious and my life wouldnt be the way it is today with out it. I know what it is today but if I ever forget I hope I remember that all I have to do is try. Your life is something opaque, not transparent, as long as you look at it in an ordinary human way. But if you hold it up against the light of Gods goodness, it shines and turns transparent, radiant and bright. And then you ask yourself in amazement: Is this really my own life I see before me? ~Albert Schweitzer
