Thank you so much for your prayers during my emergency surgery yesterday. Ive been having kidney stones for 30 years & I tend to have huge ones! But I underestimated this last one. It had wedged itself in my tube & was too big to pass in its own. So it sat there blocking my kidney for a few weeks until the kidney became infected, bruised, swollen & downright angry with me. All of this combined with a fever made them go in & retrieve the sucker as quickly as possible. I have a very high pain tolerance but I realized after taking lortab at home, Demerol at the dr office & morphine at the hospital still wasnt helping, it was probably time to go under the knife. Lol. They didnt really give me a choice anyway- something about kidney exploding, dialysis, dying, yada, yada, yada. Whatevs. So they went in to get it, saw it was massive, got what they could, busted up the rest & now life goes on............at least for 10 days or so till my follow up surgery. Lol.
