Thank you so much to Cork Dog Action Welfare Group for helping my very special girl Peggy - How we all cried for Peggy - each of us bawled our eyes out. We could not believe what we saw =- this Lab cross was thinner than my lurcher. She was emaciated beyond belief , she was blind , she was deaf, she was hungry, she was dying , she was in one of the worst states we have all seen and of course the photos dont do her justice here. Girls in Cork DAWG in a matter of days paid vet bills int heir thousands for this dog to help her have some comfort. Vets at Sunbeam, and Gilabbey were distraught looking at her - they were actually horrified, one of the vets started to get very upset ( a man in practice for over thirty years) - there was hope for Peggy despite all her ailments and you clung onto that hope to give this girl a quality of life and a bit of dignity in her life and comfort. I will never ever ever forget her as long as i live - and i want to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for helping my precious Peggy..... RIP my special peggy - you were loved by me , Vicky Hurley , Angela O Brien and Mandy Young & Eila Moloney & Jane Butler - we will always remember you and you were so special to us despite what your owners thought of you . We love you . x
