Thank you so much to all the Bands, Promoters, Venues, Merch and Flyer Companies, Recording Companies, and Community Event Planners that made it out to the Bands and Promoters Meeting! This will be happening monthly-AS long as people keep showing up and wanting to make a difference. I am open to discussion topics, guest speakers-This is after all-ALL about our local music scene-as a whole. If YOU are interested in speaking, attending or being a part of this, please hit me up. You have the option of just listening or joining in open conversation. To ensure everyone gets to speak and be heard, I will give speakers 5-10 minutes on stage to express their topic and open the room up for discussion. This is an excellent spot for merch providers to advertise to bands, venues to express what they are looking for, promoters to explain what they do, provide and can do, what bands want-need-like/dislike about the scene. The possibilities are endless....with enough support. The next meeting will be on a SUNDAY - August 25th at Jub Jubs 4:00-6:00. I want to see if switching this to a Sunday helps, as a bunch of bands are usually loading in and playing shows on Fridays. Hopefully this will make it a little easier for everyone.
