Thank you so much to all who prayed for our son, Skip!!! He truly needed your prayers!!! It has been a very challenging day,(to say the least.)The doctors found that Skip needs to have a valve replacement, right away. There is a relatively new, much less invasive procedure. Due to extenuating circumstances, he will have to have open heart surgery. We have to wait for 2 more weeks for the surgery, because he needs to wait until the medication, that contains blood thinners, is out of his system. We believe that God has His hand on Skip, and we will live what we believe. I have to admit I was shaken when I heard they had to do open heart surgery, but fear and faith cannot successfully co-exist. I will stand firm, & give thanks for His promises!!! I slept for a couple of hours last night, so I am going to lay down now. Wishing you all a great evening!!!
