Thank you so, so much to all of you that text and called and messaged me today. I just left the funeral of someone who I once spent every day with for about 3 or 4 years. When I moved to this area, and knew nobody, and was reentering the workforce (while in school), she was the bar manager and tender at the little Irish joint where I worked for a short time. She and I hit it off immediately, and were inseparable. She was my assistant when I needed a model for facials and a body to work on for massage school. She was there to take me and my kiddo out for his first Halloween, She and her husband rescued Julian and I and gave us a warm home when the ice storms incapacitated our area a few years ago. She gave me love and strength when I couldnt find it on my own. She was a kind, *giving*, true friend. And today I had to say goodbye to her. I dont think a funeral has ever been so tough for me. Thank you to those of you who listen and read my posts. You mean more than you know to me. Bury any old hachets or burdens you have and move forward in love, BE kind to others, celebrate each others lives NOW. But most importantly, be tolerant, even if someone drives you around the bend... you NEVER know when or if you will see them again.
