Thank you summer for…. the amazing stretch of sunny days and blue skies, the Gibsons Jazz Festival on the street, beach days with kids collecting stuff in buckets, our 6th Wedding Anniversary, FUSE Community Work Hub day with Leah Goard, Vancouver Island Music Fest with family and friends, camping at Okeover arm, spending time with my little brother and his beautiful family, yoga at Chaster House steps from the Ocean, Wanderlust in Whistler with Patrick and Heather Hargreaves, hiking in Whistler and class with Chris Chavez, Just Practice - Art & Yoga with Marlene at GPAG, painting with Todd Clark Studio and company, including the peacocks, “through Tuscany” showing at the Sunshine Coast Arts Council, road trip to the Okanagan hanging out on the lake with family and friends who are family, hosting on our deck, occasional naps in the late afternoon in the sunshine, the Synchronicity Festival, road trip with my girls to Harrison Hot Springs to celebrate Sarah’s 17th birthday, Gambier Island girls get away with Laurie Case and Micha, and collecting food from my garden – I agree Gina Ray, that was one of the best summer’s in my life, thank-you for inspiring me to write this.
