Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who played, sang, - TopicsExpress

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who played, sang, spoke, listened, painted, and luthierized for this years Lamplighter Sessions. THANK YOU. The two swaps were amazing, notably the trumpet-vs-mouth trumpet and whistle-off between Dietrich Strause, Heather Maloney, and Ryan Montbleau, and of course James Rohr, Jesse Dee and I being flummoxed by Wishbone Zoë and her inventiveness. Thanks Maeve Gilchrist for going wherever in his convoluted mind Mr. Wild-Card-Himself Listen to Tim Gearan decided to take us, and for hitting the reset button with some several hundred year old fiddle tunes. Thanks to Radio Swan, the Crumbling Beauties, and the New England Luthiers for making everything from Halloween onward feel like a victory lap. Thanks of course to Matt Smith and all at Club Passim for making this possible, to Jeremy Pinc for being there. Thanks to the four hundred odd souls who attended, listened, laughed, applauded, bought Jeremys paintings, heckled, cajoled, requested, and created space for this art to happen. If you took photographs, PLEASE send them to me here at this page, or post them over on my personal page. Thanks so much, everyone. Its so much work to get this even up and running and every November I remember exactly what all the work is for. Art. Who knew? Art.
