Thank you to Kelly Wright Wyszomierski for nominating me for the #ALSIceBucketChallenge ! For anyone curious, ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerves cells in the brain and spinal cord. When these nerve cells/motor neurons die, the brains ability to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. This can lead to total paralysis. You may also know it as Lou Gehrigs Disease. The icy water used in this challenge is meant to give the person a temporary example of this paralysis. Id like to nominate server all people to do this challenge, since I obviously loved it so much. Evan Weisblatt, Rich Hill, Eric Braceland, Aaron Hench, Kylie Hewitt, Michelle Lawson, Maureen Lawson. You have 24 hours to take the challenge and donate $10 to the ALS Foundation, or you have to donate $100 to the cause! Also, feel free to do both!
