Thank you to Wayne Chow for making me aware of this. Apparently, an imgur user named tendingrunner made GIFS of each teams uniform history, pulling the images from my site without my prior knowledge. Theyre apparently going viral, with this guy getting all the credit (even though I was the one that spent months putting the site together). He gives a link to the site, but in accordance with my Acceptable Use Policy, thats insufficient. Heres the email I just sent to him: I was made aware of the GIFs that you made on the history of NHL uniforms, lifting the images from my website. I noticed that you cited the website where you lifted them from. However, if you look at the Acceptable Use Policy (nhluniforms/Privacy.html), you will notice that I require attribution by name and the official website title. i.e., Illustratioms by Andrew M. Greenstein, the unofficial NHL Uniform Database, along with a link to the website. The policy also states that you may not edit the images without prior consent, which you clearly did on several occasions. I am requesting that you change the attribution to the wording that I have indicated. And before lifting anything from my website again, please ask permission.
