Thank you to all of the people who have congratulated me about becoming President-Elect of the IBM. I was asked earlier today whether I might be the youngest president of the IBM - International Brotherhood of Magicians when I take office next summer. Our very first president, Len Vintus, was born in 1903 and the IBM was founded in 1922, so he began serving as president at the age of 19, setting a record that still stands today. David Sandy (2003-04) and H. Adrian Smith (1948-49) were both 40 at the time of their administrations. Forrest P. Hendricks was 44 when he took office in 1953, and Ill be a year older than he was. I say all that to say this: Im probably young enough to be at the kids table but I wont be the youngest one there!
